This Forum is part of the WA Country Health Service and Rural Health West Resident Specialist and Procedural GP Education Series.
The two day Rural GP Obstetrics and Gynaecology Forum 2020 will include lectures, small problem based discussions, Sim and skills stations delivered concurrently over the weekend and facilitated by experienced specialists. The forum will also provide an opportunity to network with fellow specialists, GP Obstetricians and colleagues.
The Rural Obstetrics and Gynaecology Forum is open to:
- GP Obstetricians
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialists
- GP Registrars with Advanced or Basic DRANZCOG
This program will meet the criteria for the WA Country Health Service credentialing guidelines if all of the following sessions are attended:
- Fetal Surveillance Education Program (Friday 14 February)
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Obstetric emergencies:
- neonatal resuscitation
- pre-eclampsia
- shoulder dystocia
- instrumental deliveries
- postpartum haemorrhage
- team work
